We're very excited about the creative possibilities of the iPad as a medium for artistic exploration and expression. From time to time, we'll post examples of student artwork on this page. Symmetry and Cubism

These images were created in Mr. Mitchell's after school drawing program using the paid version of Drawing Box (free version | paid version). The students were experimenting with two elements--symmetry, using the horizontal symmetry tool, and cubism in the style of Picasso. The faces are symmetrical, but the cubist transformations sometimes are not. It can make for a very interesting combination.
